By Bal Krishen in 'Century in News'
Financial brokerage firm and online trading service provider, Century Financial, has launched an investor education initiative geared towards helping investors in the region make informed investment and trading choices.
Dubbed Trade Talks, the seminars are in line with the 2018 World Investor Week, which is observed worldwide from 1st to 7th October. According to the International Organization of Securities Commissions, this year’s theme is “Promoting Investor Education and Protection”. The CFB Trade Talks Seminars will be conducted at the firm’s Dubai offices in Bur Dubai and are open to the public.
According to Bal Krishen, chief executive officer – Century Financial, the initiative’s main objective is to create awareness on how to enter into global markets. The seminars will also highlight the process of online trading in global markets and the risks involved and how to manage them through diversification and sector based investments. This, he says, will enable investors to make sound investment decisions and, in turn, ensure that they get profitable returns in the end.
Mr. Yogesh Khairajani, Investment Research Analyst at Century Financial, added that “We are delighted to unveil the Century Financial Brokers #TradeTalks seminars – an initiative mooted in support of this year’s World Investor Week and financial planning month observed in October. As pioneers in financial and investment sector in UAE, we are committed towards educating the public on matters of investment and online trading. These seminars will help investors to have realistic expectations. In the end, the participants will have a better understanding of how the capital market works and how to make sound investments decisions.” said Krishen.
The Trade Talks seminars will cover basic knowledge about the global financial markets, the significance of investment, the mechanism behind the working of forex & stock markets, and the risks and appropriate tools to manage it. Participants will also get to learn how to interpret the market news and its impact on their investment decisions. They will also gain useful insights on how to identify their risk tolerance, which will make it easier to define their overall investment and trading objectives.
The seminars are free of charge and will be conducted on a weekly basis.
